The JAL Group announced further changes to its overall route and flight frequency plan with a focus on improving profitability and reducing costs. As a result, the Kuala Lumpur = Singapore = Osaka (Kansai) route will be suspended effective from 17 January 2010. The last flight operating this route will be JL722 from Kuala Lumpur via Singapore to Osaka on 16 January 2010 and JL721 from Osaka via Singapore to Kuala Lumpur on 16 January 2010.
